Calling all string players!  

An in-person workshop in a professional recording studio!

Have you ever wanted to explore all your instrument, electrified in a professional recording studio?  Violinist Laurel Morgan Parks (of the Wires/Of Tree)  will be guiding participants through the ins and outs of the amplified instrument.  We will explore pickups and microphones, pedals, looping and recording at Massive Sound studios with engineer Paul Malinowski.  This is an all ages, all levels workshop for people who play the violin, viola and cello.  Each participant will have the opportunity to record a selection of their choice AND receive a professional track of themselves playing.
