Drunken Fiddles has been accepted to the Shark Tank February Casting Call!
Drunken Fiddles started out as a group class for adults who would like to learn how to play the fiddle/violin. The class started with four people in my living room and has now grown to 6 classes, 3 different levels and hundreds of people who have been through the program. We have spent the last few months creating an online version of Drunken Fiddles for people who would like to learn alongside our community at home. The doors open April 5th, featuring continually added content to get you fiddling right away!

The website includes TWO tracks:
Both Levels Are Included!
Absolute Beginner
Absolute Beginners: you will learn to fiddle alongside small groups of my actual students. We start from the very beginning - I assume you know nothing.
Experienced Beginners- Intermediate
Experienced Beginners- Intermediate: This course is for people who already know how to play and would like to learn tunes and styles at a slow to moderate pace.
1. Online, Absolute Beginner:
Both levels are included!
What makes this course special is that I’ve filled in the gaps in learning between tunes so that you don’t have to make big leaps in technique. One skill is introduced at a time so that playing is progressive. We skip the boring exercises to get to playing tunes right away.
What you get:
- Instructional videos filmed in a small group setting + some individual content where it will be just you and me.
- Recordings of the LIVE classes of Drunken Fiddles (currently delayed due to COVID-19) posted during the week they occur (including any teaching from guest artists!).
- Practice videos where I break down the tunes and do your daily practice sections WITH you.
- Tune cheat sheets! Don’t worry, you don’t need to learn how to read music. I will teach you a combination of learning by ear plus using a cheat sheet so you don’t have to memorize anything.
2. Online, Experienced Beginners:
Both levels are included!
You will learn a variety of tunes in different styles, focusing on one style every 2 months. For April and May we will focus on Celtic Music. I will teach you tunes and then provide daily practice videos so that you can make progress in less than 10 minutes a day!

- Recordings of the LIVE classes of Drunken Fiddles (currently delayed due to Covid-19) posted during the week they occur (including any teaching from guest artists!
- Instructional Videos of one tune/week
- Daily Practice videos that are short and efficient for improving in the fastest way possible. Just turn on the video and practice with me to make progress.
- Sheet music with fingerings.
- Bonus Videos for techniques such as vibrato and improving your tone.
