Meet Laurel

Hi, I'm Laurel Morgan, founder of Drunken Fiddles.

For more than a decade, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of adults discover that it's never too late to learn the violin. I believe anyone - whether they're picking up an instrument for the first time or returning after years away - can learn with the right guidance and supportive community. 

Before starting Drunken Fiddles, I built a career as a professional violinist, performing with artists including the Eagles, Sarah McLachlan, Josh Groban, Evanescence, Disturbed, and Amy Grant, as well as orchestras and festivals around the world. But my greatest joy isn't performing - it's watching a beginner play their first tune with confidence.

Drunken Fiddles began in 2015 when I invited five adults into my living room for a fiddle class. That little experiment grew into a community of hundreds of adult musicians learning, laughing, and making music together across the Midwest and online.
