It's finally here: my new (to me) nyckelharpa. This is the national instrument of Sweden.  I find the sound of this hauntingly alluring.  To me, it is the sound of winter mystery and cold icy seas.  I first heard one in person 5 years ago and was captivated.  These are hard to find in the U.S. so I had mine shipped from Germany.  Click on the video if you'd like to hear what it sounds like!
