No — live attendance is optional. All sessions are recorded and released each Wednesday so you can watch and practice anytime that works for you.

Nope! This is a pressure-free learning experience. You’ll be learning in the privacy of your own home. You can stay muted, camera off, and simply absorb and practice at your own pace.

This series is for adult string players who already have at least one year of playing experience. You should know your way around your instrument but you don’t need previous “by-ear” training to begin.

All string players are welcome:

If you play another melodic instrument you will still benefit from the class, but know that there will be string-specific issues addressed.

Each season includes 9 full tunes, one per week (that’s up to 36 tunes over the full year) plus variations and ornaments learned naturally by ear.

Each session runs about 60 minutes, perfect for a lunchtime creative break.

No, you may enroll season-by-season if you prefer. The Year Pass is simply the most cost-effective way to participate in all four seasons.
